1. Faster than Anything Else Available
Yes, pixel response time really is almost 1000 times faster than any other technology available, including LCD and Plasma
DLP technology for the home creates images using a Digital Micro-Mirror Device (DMD) that switches light output at a speed of 16 microseconds! This speed enables DLP to have very good rendering of 3D contents, including fast-moving action scenes or sports.
How DLP 3D Format Differs
DLP 3DTVs use a display format called "checkerboard" where left/right images are packed into one frame (see below) and overlaid |

2. Because it is the #1 Choice in Movie Theaters
Over 90% of professional theaters utilize DLP technology for 3D

DLP Cinema systems have been deployed and tested commercially in theaters since 1999, providing 10+ years of in-field usage.
This technology was the world's first digital 3D single projector solution for movie theaters & commercial use. By using just one projector to produce a 3D image, technical problems of yesteryear like cross-talk and ghosting, are virtually eliminated.
3. Because 3D is Supposed to be BIG Event TV
A Mitsubishi 82" DLP is almost 4 times the size of a 42" flat panel

Doesn't watching 3D movies or sporting events on a smaller flat panel screen kind of defeat the purpose?
3D is meant to immerse the viewer, drawing them into a whole other world... How impressive is a whopping 42" world going to be?
The flying creatures of Avatar are supposed to inspire awe as they swoop low over your head, not make you think, "Ew, there are tiny blue mice flying out of the TV at my face..."
4. MITSUBISHI 3D FACT:
2010 DLP HDTVs from Mitsubishi are their 3rd generation of 3D-ready TVs.

Mitsubishi has sold nearly a million 3D-ready DLP TVs since 2007 — did you sell your customer one? If so, this holiday season the perfect time to provide them with the ultimate upgrade!
At $399 retail, the 3D Starter Pack (part #3DC-1000) includes: 2 Pairs Of Active Shutter 3D Glasses, Matching Emitter, 3D Adapter, HDMI Cable and a Disney 3D Showcase Blu-ray Disc.
Nothing says holiday cheer like a little 3D under the tree! |

If you are like many who think that 3D is simply going to be a feature and the next big thing is going to be 4K (3840 x 2160), looks like TV's will be coming out late this year. In preparation for this new technology, Onkyo has Marvell Qdeo™ 4K Upscaling and Processing chip on their new TX-xxxx9 receivers
Notice everyone concentrating on LCD/LED HDTV's and giving the brush off to DLP as not worthwhile to invest in? Well here are 4 reasons why DLP is better than all others, especially in 3D.
